All of our India & Mills clothing, homewares and accessories are made in small batches using traditional techniques and natural fabrics. Slight variations in the colours and finishes are expected, making them just as unique as you are. Cared for properly, they will stand the test of time. Please read the below carefully before washing your India & Mills garment. 

Do not dry clean ANY India & Mills garment!

Due to the nature of hand-craft your India & Mills garment should be machine or hand-washed cold, using a small amount of gentle detergent (one that does not contain bleach). You will find the specific wash care for each product on their product page. 

There are also washing instructions included on the swing tags and labels of your garment.  

Do not leave damp in the machine overnight and hang to dry!

Iron whilst damp, or, use a hand steamer. Do not tumble dry.
