We are delighted to be a part of The Better Future Collective, founded by Daisy, the founder of Kapara London. This project brings together brands in the UK who manufacture in India and want to make a positive social impact. By collaborating as a collective, the brands can achieve far more than individually. The Better Future Collective is focused on education, specifically supporting girls in a struggling area in Jaipur, by helping them go to school. They have teamed up with Sneh Girls Shikshan Sansthan, a school dedicated to providing free, quality education in a safe environment.
Many girls in underprivileged families miss out on school because they are needed at home or because education isn't prioritised for them. The Better Collective wants to change that narrative and give these girls the chance they deserve.
India and Mills will be sponsoring two girls through their education in Jaipur. This will cover their school tuition, uniform, stationary, transport, food and medical support.
We also proudly support Dogs of India, founded by Vardhani. This incredible initiative cares for Jaipur’s street dogs. Every dog in their care is vaccinated yearly, spayed or neutered, and lives a safe and happy life.
Vardhani also fosters injured or abandoned animals until they recover and can be reunited with their families or find loving homes. Her dedication and compassion is truly inspiring, and we are proud to support her incredible work.
